Kim Kardashian unveils Travis Barker-produced version of ‘Santa Baby’

A music video for the cover features a cameo appearance by Home alone Star Macaulay Culkin

Kim Kardashian has hopped on the holiday music bandwagon with a breathy cover of “Santa Baby.” The rendition of the classic Christmas song was produced by Travis Barker and is accompanied by a lo-fi music video directed by Nadia Lee Cohen and Charlie Denis.

Shot like a classic VHS home video and set at a chaotic, bizarre Christmas party, the clip features a cameo appearance from Home alone Star Macaulay Culkin. Imagine David Lynch directing a Skims commercial.

Kardashian has made forays into music before. In 2011, she released her debut single “Jam (Turn It Up).” A few years later, while appearing on Watch What Happens Live, she admitted that she said the song was her one big regret. “I don’t like it when people get involved in things they shouldn’t be,” she said on the talk show. “And in my opinion I shouldn’t have done that either. For example, what gave me the right to believe I could become a singer? I don’t have a good voice.”

More recently, Kardashian has been pursuing her acting career. She appeared in Ryan Murphy’s American Horror Story: Delicatewhich premiered in two parts in 2023 and 2024. She is also executive producing and starring in Murphy’s upcoming series Everything OK. Your reality show The Kardashians was renewed for a sixth and seventh season at Hulu over the summer.

Barker, who is married to Kourtney Kardashian, has produced music for artists such as Machine Gun Kelly and Avril Lavigne in recent years. In 2022, his band Blink-182 announced that they would be reuniting with Tom DeLonge in their original lineup. The group released a new LP, One more time…last year.
