WhatsApp is introducing a new shortcut to open a conversation with Meta AI from the Chats tab, making it more visible and accessible to users.

The new shortcut, introduced by the Meta-owned instant messaging app in the latest WhatsApp beta update for iOS 24.25.10.79, is now located in the Chats tab, replacing the previous one positioned at the top of the navigation bar was. WABetaInfo reported.

In this way, WhatsApp aims to improve its visibility and make it easier to access, especially on devices with larger displays where reaching the top of the screen may be cumbersome.

Additionally, the app aims to encourage more users to explore AI-powered features through the new link.

This extension also allows users to experiment with creative features, such as creating personalized images or other content.

This change reflects a thoughtful adjustment that takes into account the user experience, especially in the Android version, where the shortcut is similar to the floating action button.

However, it is important to note that this design choice could be viewed as a test rather than a final placement.

WhatsApp may continue to optimize the interface based on user preferences and feedback.

The shortcut is currently available to some beta testers who install the latest version of WhatsApp Beta for iOS via the TestFlight app, and it will be rolled out to more people in the coming weeks.
