SZA lashes out at ‘crazy’ Frank Ocean fan who invented collaboration rumors | News

SZA doesn’t want fans to comment on unconfirmed collaboration rumors.

Over the weekend, the singer-songwriter seemed to be taking a beating Frank Ocean Fan page on “Frank Ocean’s verse on SZA’s new album LANA was removed at the last minute,” says @blondedhomer’s X post. per Reddit.

But the four-time Grammy winner didn’t let the speculation go unchecked. “Lmao why did you even think of that?” she wrote in a since-deleted reply. “You’re crazy. It never existed. And don’t ever play with Frank’s name like that, EVAAAA.”

While SZA and Frank were friends — the “Saturn” singer attended his 30th birthday party in 2017 — “30 for 30” is the only collaboration on “LANA.” Kendrick Lamar. Overall, the new project is a reissue of the Grammy-winning second album “SOS”, which was released in December 2022.

After a series of delays, “LANA” was released on Friday, December 20th, and SZA appears to be planning to release new songs in time for the holidays. “After listening I was clear minded and switch up some mixes when adding things for Christmas lol,” she wrote on X on Monday, December 23. “This means nothing to you but I had to for tell me lol.” Who knows, maybe you’ll notice 🤷🏾‍♀️”

But the artist has more than just music in store for his fans. In January, SZA will make her acting debut opposite Keke Palmer in the buddy comedy One of Them Days.
