β€œIt was an emotional day for both of us,” they said.

The couple said they saw messages about the unclaimed prize and began searching for their ticket. The initial search was unsuccessful, but when they heard more recent stories about the deadline to claim it, they continued the search and found it on Christmas morning.

The ticket, which contained all five white balls, was purchased for the June 29 drawing at the Kendallville Finish Line, 620 Professional Way, in Kendallville, Indiana.
