Unseasonably warm weather will continue throughout the weekend in the Dallas-Fort Worth area; However, cooler temperatures are expected to return in time for the New Year, according to the National Weather Service.
“Above normal temperatures” are forecast through Monday, with highs reaching the 70s. North Texans should expect much cooler weather on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, with temperatures dropping into the mid-30s.
NWS Fort Worth officials warned on social media that some parts of the area could experience subfreezing temperatures by New Year’s morning.
So get your act together, North Texas. Plan to ring in 2025 with seasonally cool weather.
