Everton vs Peterborough: FA Cup starting lineups and how to watch | Chain of three for Baines

Everton – It looks like Baines has chosen a back three. Ashley Young sits on the bench, as does his son.

Peterborough United

Preparations for Everton’s FA Cup game against Peterborough United this evening took a surprising turn when the club announced that manager Sean Dyche had been sacked just hours before kick-off.

The exit really shouldn’t be a surprise given the Blues’ abysmal form this season – three wins in 19 Premier League games is relegation level, and the quality of football on display was so poor that the Evertonians nodded at AFC Bournemouth fans shouted: ” How do you watch this every week?”

Under-18s coach Leighton Baines and club captain Seamus Coleman will take the reins in tonight’s clash against the Posh, who also find themselves at the bottom of their table. Peterborough are 19th in Football League One and have not won a game in the Football League Trophy since mid-December.
