Fire Country isn't airing an episode on CBS this week, and there's a big reason for that

We’re still a few weeks away from that Tierra del Fuego Midseason premiere on the TV program 2025but while we wait, reruns have been airing on CBS. However, that won’t happen this week, and for one very important reason.

This week has been a devastating week in the state of California due to the wildfires. So many people – including Prominent actors have lost their homes because of this. At the time of writing, firefighters and first responders are working around the clock to contain it and rescue everyone affected. For this reason, Tierra del Fuego will not take place this week.

The wildfires started on January 7th and CBS didn’t wait long Tierra del Fuego from his schedule this week. On January 8, it was announced that the planned repeat would not be broadcast deadline He wrote that this was done “out of sensitivity to the devastation in the Los Angeles area and out of respect for the tens of thousands affected by the massive fires in Southern California.”

Overall, this decision was important and very sensible. Tierra del Fuego is a show about fighting wildfires and other fire disasters in Northern California. It centers on a detachment of Cal Fire firefighters and follows events not too far removed from what’s happening in LA right now. That’s why leaving him off the CBS lineup this week felt like the right move, considering how close he can be to the mark.

NCIS: Sydney airs tonight, January 10th Tierra del Fuego Normal 9pm slot. This means that the CBS Friday program will consist of two episodes NCIS Spinoff at 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. and then SWAT at 10 p.m. These aren’t new episodes, they’re all encores, as the channel will begin airing new episodes of almost all of its programs towards the end of January – which was always the plan.

Now this shouldn’t delay the return of Tierra del Fuegoand there should be no production delays due to the Los Angeles fires.

Stand now, Season 3 premieres midseason is scheduled to air on January 31st at 9pm ET. And I expect it will address various cliffhangers Eva’s relationship with her father, Gabriela and Jake’s one-night stand and Bode and Audrey’s situation where they are stuck in a swimming pool.

Also according to ScreenRantthe show is primarily filmed in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. So while shows based in LA e.g Grey’s Anatomy And NCIS, are facing production delays, Tierra del Fuego should not be affected by this.

Of course, it’s possible that Max Thieriot’s show won’t appear in prime time until the LA fires are under control, out of respect and sensitivity to the situation. As soon as we find out more about it, we will keep you updated. For now, you can enjoy today’s program, which includes two episodes of NCIS: Sydney and a sequence of SWAT. and you can stream Tierra del Fuego with a Paramount+ subscription if you want.

If everything stays on schedule, new episodes of the drama should return on Friday, January 31 at 9pm ET on CBS.
