Pokémon Trading Card Game’s Prismatic Evolutions appears to contain God Packs

Prismatic Evolutions is a so-called holiday set. This means that the normal rules of Pokémon TCG packs do not apply. There are no booster boxes, and they may These include god packs. It looks like this latest set definitely has the latter.

Shared by Reddit user Presigious_Park_856 is a video of an early Prismatic Evolutions opening, in which the person recording received eight Special Illustration Rares in a single pack.

The drawings came from a “Rip n Ship” stream, in which the lucky buyer receives the eight most wanted cards in the expansion. The seller first pulled Leafeon ex, then Flareon ex, Vaporeon ex, Glaceon ex, Jolteon ex, Espeon ex, Sylveon ex and finally the big one, Umbreon ex.

With cards from this set already selling for a small fortune, including the Pokemon Center’s exclusive Elite Trainer Box Eevee promotion, the buyer definitely got their money’s worth.

This is the second report of its kind on Prismatic Evolutions with packs of gods. A video was posted on Twitter showing a “demigod pack” that included an Espeon Ex, an Umbreon Ex, and a Teal Mask Ogrepon Ex.

There are probably several reasons for Prismatic Evolutions’ popularity. The “Chase” cards in the set closely resemble those in Evolving Skies, a set that has seen its price skyrocket in recent months. It also helps that Eevee and its evolutions are really popular Pokemon, and the TCG will likely see a bit of a boost too thanks to Pokemon TCG Pocket.
