RHOBH’s Jennifer Tilly doesn’t think she’s rich, despite Simpsons Fortune.

Jennifer Tilly Doesn’t hurt the money thanks The Simpsons – but that doesn’t mean she identifies as rich.

“I don’t consider myself rich,” said Tilly, 66 E! News on Tuesday, January 14th. “But I think I’m kidding myself because I have several properties and a handbag that apparently cost $33,000.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Star, who joined the show in season 14, noted that she thought, “Everyone knew I had a piece of it The Simpsons“Where a lot of their money comes from.

“It’s not a big piece, but even a small piece is impressive,” she added.

During the December 3, 2024 episode of RHOBHTilly realized she was married The Simpsons Creator, Sam Simonfor seven years. The couple, who were together for a total of 10 years, divorced in 1991 and she “got a piece” of the show in her severance package.

“Nobody knew that The Simpsons would last trillions of years,” Tilly said on the show. “Honestly, every day I say, ‘Thank you, Sam!'” (Simon died in 2015 at age 59.)

During the same episode, co-star Erika Jayne pointed out that Tilly owns an extremely rare Louis Vuitton handbag worth $33,000, which she said was not entirely accurate.

“Actually it wasn’t. It cost $33,000, and I’m just making that clear,” Tilly said E! “You’ll have to have an intern look it up. It’s very rare, maybe they jacked up the price on the secondary market, but I called my wallet contact and said, ‘How much did I pay for this wallet?’ She said, ‘$22,000’.”

While the price of the handbag dropped slightly, Tilly revealed that she owns four homes: three in California and one in Las Vegas.

Despite all her possessions, Tilly insisted she lives modestly with her boyfriend in a “very small, cluttered house”.

Jennifer Tilly isn’t holding back in her debut on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, which she described as “dynamite.” The Season 14 newcomer exclusively told Us Weekly, “Everyone stirred the pot,” including herself. “There’s not a single person sitting on the sidelines eating popcorn and saying, ‘Wow, this is fabulous, this is.’ like that (…)’

“Yes, there is a huge house next door, but we don’t go there,” she said. “I guess we’re kind of delusional. I don’t have a huge mansion and a chauffeur who calls me “Miss Tilly” and makes out with me Sutton (Stracke)‘s chauffeur. I just live my life the way I used to live.”

Tilly added that she thinks it’s “kind of awkward to flaunt your wealth,” especially since money can’t buy you happiness.

“That’s why people love housewives“, she concluded. “They are so rich and can afford any plastic surgeon their heart desires, as well as designer clothes and jewelry, but they are still not happy. That’s the key to it housewives. For example, “Wow, if I had that much wealth, I would be happy.” But these people are miserable. That’s why people like to watch housewives.”
