Chris Martin and Dakota Johnson Visit Shri Babulnath Temple Ahead of Coldplay's India Concerts: Watch Videos

Coldplay’s Chris Martin and Hollywood actress Dakota Johnson, known for her role in Fifty Shades of Grey, thrilled fans in Mumbai as they prepared for the band’s highly anticipated India concerts. The couple was spotted visiting the icon Shri Babulnath Temple on Friday to seek blessings from Lord Shiva before their upcoming performances.
Chris, who embraces local culture, wore a pastel blue kurta paired with a rudraksha mala, while Dakota kept it simple in a printed cotton suit and respectfully covered her head with a dupatta. The couple, clearly immersed in the spiritual experience, posed for photographers before entering the temple.

A heartwarming moment was when Dakota whispered her wish in the ear of Nandi, the sacred bull of Lord Shiva – a gesture traditionally believed to fulfill prayers. Videos and photos from the visit quickly went viral, showing the duo’s deep respect for Indian customs.

Your visit comes ahead of Coldplay’s performances as part of their Music of the Spheres World Tour. The band will hold three concerts at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on January 18, 19 and 21, with a grand finale on January 25 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
The couple’s arrival in Mumbai on Thursday evening also made headlines. Chris greeted the photographers with a warm “Namaste” and immediately connected with the fans. Dakota, known for her roles in “Fifty Shades of Gray” and “Madame Web,” was equally down-to-earth in her demeanor.

Coldplay’s connection with India dates back to their performance at the Global Citizen Festival in Mumbai in 2016, making this tour another exciting chapter for the band and their fans in India.
