Chris Estrada Tries to Be Selenis Leyva’s Bad Boy in ‘Lopez vs. Lopez’ Season 3 Sneak Peek (Exclusive).

Love is in the air for Rosie (Selenis Leyva) in this week’s episode Lopez vs. Lopezbut it may not be all sunshine and rainbows. Collider can exclusively reveal a new sneak peek at the upcoming third season episode titled “Lopez vs. Memories,” in which Mayans (Mayan Lopez) Mom and Georges (George Lopez) Ex-wife tries to get back into dating. This time she found a really nice guy, who also happens to be Quintens (Matt Shively) boss, played by a comedian Chris Estrada. However, the blossoming relationship leaves both Mayan and Quinten uneasy and the footage shows the latter trying his best to make him a bad boy for Rosie, with ridiculous results.

Roberto (Estrada) enters the scene wearing a leather jacket and a gold chain, looking like “a guy with a naked woman painted on his hood.” Not unlike Estrada’s mild-mannered protagonist in his Hulu series This foolhe’s not that kind of person But Quinten urges his boss to embrace his dangerous side. However, that’s easier said than done, considering that the most dangerous thing Roberto did was play drum lieutenant in the brass band. Nonetheless, they approach the double date with Rosie and Maya ready to present him in a new light, only to immediately show his goofy side with the old “bouquet up his sleeve” magic trick. The chiller keeps breaking down as he tries to save it by saying he’s a certified Magic Castle illusionist “on the streets and in the sheets” and that his other hobby, D&D, is actually for “Drunk and Disorderly “ stand.

Judging by Rosie’s confused and worried expression and the looks he shares with Mayan, Roberto doesn’t make the best impression on their date. He and Quinten may still have some work to do to make him a more suitable suitor for matriarch of the Lopez family than their previous friends, but the bad boy mentality is clearly a turnaround and a miss. Estrada is a perfect fit for this role, having spent two seasons in it This fool He plays the well-meaning Julio Lopez, a 30-year-old who still lives in his parents’ house and spends more time doing charity work than he does. Lopez vs. Lopez will mark his first live-action appearance on the small screen since his Los Angeles-centric comedy series ended in 2023, although he has also previously provided his voice to Disney’s Hamster and Gretel and Freeforms Praise Petey.

What else happens in the latest episode of “Lopez vs. Lopez” season 3?

While everyone else is focused on Rosie and Roberto this week, George has his own problems at home. The elder Lopez must face painful memories to retrieve the lost home videos of Mayan from when she was young. Lopez vs. Lopez has always focused on the relationship and generational strain between father and daughter, and “Lopez vs. Memories” has the chance to be an emotional episode that directly confronts George’s past mistakes. The show’s warmth is one of the reasons NBC is still doing so well in its third season, but there’s much more to come. After tonight’s episode, there are only three episodes left, with the finale taking place on February 7th Saved by the bell star Mario Lopez for an episode that’s sure to make George laugh and a little jealous.
