“I’m a Buffalo guy,” Cellino said of purchasing a 48,000-square-foot marvel built and finished for the widow of Seymour H. Knox, the owner and founder of SH Knox Co. 5 and 10 Cent Stores Year 1918. “I know how much this incredible, historic building means to the people of Buffalo and I thought it would be perfect in every way for our headquarters and we offer tours on weekends so people can see it “You can see how spectacular the building still is.” Ross’ brother, retired physician Michael Cellino, leads the tours and does an excellent job with the history. I’ve seen it first hand and give it five out of five stars.

Of course, everyone knows the financial success of Cellino and his late former partner Steve Barnes, who started Cellino and Barnes in 1995, and their incredible marketing jingle strategy that put most of their earnings into advertising and only $500 a week in salary withheld for many, many years.

In another case, a young man suffered brain damage in a rental car and was awarded nearly $50 million by a jury after a two-week trial before the law was changed to limit rental car liability to New York State’s ridiculously low liability insurance level limited to $25,000.
