Colman Domingo Joins Cast of Dead Man’s Wire; talks about Steven Spielberg’s upcoming sci-fi film: Reports

Emmy Award-winning actor Colman Domingo has reportedly joined the cast of Gus Van Sant’s upcoming hostage thriller Dead man’s wire. The film is based on a true story from the 1970s about a man named Tony Kirtsis who kidnapped Indianapolis mortgage broker Dick Hall and held him hostage.

Nosferatu Star Bill Skarsgard will star opposite Dacre Montgomery (from). Stranger Things) and Colman Domingo. Domingo recently spoke out about this Dead man’s wire in an interview. Accordingly deadlinehe mentioned in his statements about Tony Kirtsis holding his hostages and communicating with a radio announcer.

Colman Domingo also spoke about Steven Spielberg’s upcoming sci-fi project, in which he will star alongside Colin Firth, Emily Blunt and Josh O’Connor. Domingo left teasers for the film (which will reportedly go into production in March) and said he “literally cried” reading the script.

According to deadlineColman Domingo teased fans about his upcoming hostage thriller Dead man’s wiresaying:

“This guy was just in a bad situation, holding people hostage and talking to a radio announcer. That was the only person he felt he could communicate with. He had listened to him every day and I kind of guide him not to kill people.”

The official synopsis of the film is:

“In 1977, a former real estate developer takes his mortgage banker hostage because he feels disadvantaged by a corrupt system.”

Following his statements on Dead man’s wireDomingo shared his feelings about Spielberg’s upcoming sci-fi piece, which is still a mystery to fans. He reportedly said:

“I can’t tell you anything.”

This is what he replied when asked about the title of the film. He further added:

“I will tell you this. I finished reading the script and cried. I thought it was one of the most beautiful scripts about our humanity. I think it was just the most beautiful film about our humanity, and I literally cried because Steven Spielberg believes in the possibility of the people we could be.
