Expect the coldest morning of the season. Then it finally warms up.

The most delicious morning in the middle of a number of strong cold fronts this year is expected to collapse on Saturday with the annual gas parilla parade in Tampa, although the afternoon should warm up well.

And at the end of the weekend, Tampa will sunbathe in the highest temperatures for almost two weeks.

The celebrations begin on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. when the first pirate ship at the southern end of the Hillsborough Bay docks. The parade starts at 2 p.m.

Until then, the temperatures are heated up considerably after a very cold morning, said Christianne Pearce, a meteorologist of the Tampa Bay office of the National Weather Service.

Parade gears should expect an afternoon high in the low 60s after the temperatures broke out in the low until mid -30 that morning.

“It should be a pretty pleasant day if you leave these very cold morning temperatures,” said Pearce.

Tampa Bay’s long cold weather was extended thanks to the arctic air, which swept south on the tail from Winter Storm Enzo, which brought parts of the Panhandle record snow at the beginning of this week.

With this front there is also a postponement of the latest rainy spells. According to Pearce, the parade on Saturday will sail the Bayshore Boulevard under a sunny, clear sky.

But icy winds and sea breeze this morning could give the air temperatures the feeling of being under the freezing, she added. The proximity to the banks of Tampa Bay should regulate this cool air.

“The water also helps to keep the lowest temperatures in chess,” said Pearce. “Right on the water, a few degrees will actually be warmer than if you go a little further inside.”

More than 300,000 human-almost over 50 Kewes and a parade with 120 units-will join the procession.

For those who put together their pirate costumes, the cool weather may have to bundle early and then shed layers for pearls in the course of the parade.

“I would definitely recommend a jacket for the morning,” said Pearce. “Get to layers as you would normally do and you should have a fairly decent day.”

The high temperature should extend to the high 1960s on Sunday and will finally climb into the 1970s at the beginning of next week.
