Chelsea target undefeated season, historical four -time – Lucy bronze

The defender of Chelsea, Lucy Bronze, said that after her victory against the title rival Arsenal on Sunday, her team “wants to go” on the Stamford Bridge.

The 1-0 win against her London rivals has strengthened Chelsea’s position at the top of the table and expanded the gap between you and Manchester United to seven points.

Manager Sonia Bombastor, which Emma Hayes replaced in summer, still has to lose a game in every competition and only reduced points once in the WSL when her team drew 1-1 with Leicester City in December.

The blues are still around the Women’s Champions League, the Women’s League Cup and the FA Cup for women.

“We try to win four trophies and that is difficult,” said Bronze to BBC Two.

“We wanted to get a good score (to be in a good position) if we are in the thickness in March, April and May. It is difficult (then) and they could drop points, but we are in a good place Now and we want the season unbeaten.

“There are records for breaking. Chelsea is a team that has always wanted it.

“We have never won the Champions League. We have five league titles in a row, but (going) unbelievable. We are on the right track.”

Arsenal holds the record as the only English team that remains unbeaten in all competitions when they won four times in 2006-07.

If Chelsea continues its profit form, it will be the third time that you have achieved an unbeaten season in the WSL after performing this performance in both 2017-18 and in 2019-20.
