Analyst says that Deshaun Watson has “the worst contract in the history of the NFL”

The Cleveland Browns currently have no quarterback.

Deshaun Watson is under contract, but even if he were healthy enough to play them, the team would be better off to continue from him.

At least the report by Gary Davenport from the Bleacher report feels right now.

In his last column, he landed Watson at the bottom of his QB ranking, also among players like Will Levis, Drew Lock and Aidan O’Connell.

Davenport argued that Watson was only there because of his terrible contract:

“Thanks to the worst contract in the history of the NFL, the browns have been stuck with Watson for the foreseeable future. But the 29-year-old was terrible when he was out there in Cleveland and had a second operation to repair a torn Achilles tendon. The Watson trade and the contract are the worst headlining in the history of the league. Period, «said Davenport.

To be honest, it is almost impossible to argue with this statement.

While Watson is clearly talented than some of the players named after him, he was not the same player since he left the Houston Texans, and he only got worse.

The browns’ decision to act against him was questionable at that time, given his reputation and legal turbulence, but it made sense from a soccer perspective.

Nevertheless, your decision to give him a fully guaranteed contract of 230 million US dollars before playing a single snapshot with the team.

Fortunately for the Browns there are many ways to finally move away from him in the low season, although they still have to bear the financial burden that is associated with his contract.
