Jets that look at the Lions’ Tanner Engstrand for offensive coordinator position

The Detroit Lions trainer staff can be separated even more in the coming days. According to a report by the NFL insider Josina Anderson, the New York Jets are involved in “content -related discussions” with Lions Pass -Pass -Pass coordinator Tanner Engstrand for their offensive coordinator.

The NFL reporter Aaron Wilson added the report and noticed his sources: “Trust that he would land the job”.

In recent years, the Engstrow has been a slow riser among the Lions trainer staff. He arose as an offensive assistant in 2020, was promoted to the coach/pass game coordinator for close goals in 2022 and in the last two seasons only focused on being the coordinator for passport games. Many viewed him as a candidate to replace Ben Johnson as the Lions offensive coordinator, but the Lions decided to hire the former coordinator of the Broncos Pass game, John Morton.
