Detroit Piston’s player, except by NBA Rising Stars

If the 2025 NBA Rising Stars campaign takes place next month, the Detroit Pistons has no representative.

On Tuesday, the NBA announced the second and the rookies that will be in the player pool. The pistons had two players who could have been seen as potential candidates, but the organization is empty -handed in this sense.

The earlier selection from the first round of Ausar Thompson was probably excluded because it missed a large part of the 2024-2025 NBA season.

At the beginning of the year, Thompson was not released to return to the court after his rookie season was closed at the beginning of last year due to blood clots.

Thompson missed the first 18 games of the season. He made his debut on November 25th to face the Toronto Raptors. When he finally made his debut for the year, Thompson had a hard fight back into the full swing of things. He played with limited minutes for a while.

In his first 24 games of the season, Thompson achieved an average of eight points, five rebounds, two assists and two steals. His three-point shot is still in the works, but he has achieved an average of 50 percent from the field as a whole.

Thompson remains one of the best wing defenders of the NBA and has often used up elite sportiness when he developed in the second year.

Together with Thompson, Detroit’s rookie striker, Ron Holland, was able to miss the opportunity to take part in the tournament.

After Holland had become a top election in the NBA design of 2024, he performed in 46 games. The rookie has an average of 16 minutes in front of the bank and shot six points on an average of 47 percent. He also achieved three rebounds and caught an assist per game.

The second pool consists of Bilal Coulibaly, Gradey Dick, Keyonte George, Scoot Henderson, Trayce Jackson-Davis, Jaime Jaquez, Dereck Lively, Brandon Miller, Amen Thompson, Cason Wallace and Victor Wembanyama.

The rookie pool includes Bub Carrington, Stephon Castle, Tristan da Silva, Zach Edey, Dalton Knecht, Jared McCain, Yves Missi, Zaccharie Risacher, Alex Sarr and Jaylen Wells.

With a few names that deal with setbacks, Holland and Thompson could gain an alternative interest. At the moment it is not expected to participate.
