The former friend of $ Ap Rocky testifies to alleged shooters

Terrell Ephron, who is also known from his nickname A $ ap Relli, took the witness stand in the attacking process against rapper a $ ap rocky on Tuesday and accused his former friend during a confrontation between the two in Hollywood Year 2021.

The public prosecutor interviewed Ephron about the sequence of events after stating an argument in which the rapper, whose right name is Rakim Mayers, supposedly swung a weapon.

When asked why he would follow someone he knew that he had a weapon, Ephron said that, since it was a busy street in Hollywood, he was definitely not shooting Mayers. Mayers and Ephron were friends from childhood and both part of the Harlem Rap Collective A $ ap mob.

“(Rocky) turned and then it was like boom!” Said Ephron and told the alleged shootout. “The whole thing was like a film, he pointed out and he shot the first shot.”

Ephron said that his hand “grazed” from a ball and felt “hot”. He said he then grabbed one of her friends and stood behind him to have cover, and then Mayers supposedly fired again before leaving the scene.

The public prosecutor’s office completed her survey of Ephron on Wednesday, but he is expected again on Thursday at the witness stand in order to visit himself with a cross -life.

During the opening of arguments last week, the senior lawyer of Mayers, Joe Tacopina, often used in films and music videos. Before the negotiation, Tacopina did not respond to the request from ABC News for comment before the negotiation whether Mayers should probably take a position.

Mayers a nominated hip-hop star and partner of pop star Rihanna-Wurde charged on August 15, 2022, with two reasons for attack with a semi-automatic firearm because he allegedly fired a pistol twice in the direction of the alleged victim during a confrontation. He was not guilty. The New York rapper could have up to 24 years in prison in the event of a conviction.

Rihanna, who shares two young sons with Mayers, performed for the first time during the trial when she took part in the process on Wednesday.

Before the jury was selected last week, Mayers was offered a plea deal that included 180-day prison sentence.

“He was offered a plea deal, but is not interested in because he is actually innocent,” Tacopina told ABC News.

A jury of seven women and five men was selected on Thursday and the certificate began on Friday after the public prosecutor’s office and the Mayers defense team had presented their opening arguments.

The deputy district prosecutor of Los Angeles County, Paul Przelomiec, provided the public prosecutor’s opening statements and argued before the jury that a number of videos showed that the rapper had fired a weapon in Ephron.

The public prosecutor also presented the jury a number of maps that identified photos, a 911 call from the night of the incident and several videos taken by surveillance cameras in the region.

“This is not a complicated case. The evidence shows that the events in this case have been recorded in surveillance videos,” said Przelomiec.

Regarding the opening statements of the defense, Tacopina claimed that the rapper was “innocent” and that Ephron requested a financial profit.

“This is about lies, jealousy and greed of a man,” Tacopina told the jury and threw the case “everything about money”.

Ephron reported as a victim of the alleged attack and submitted a civil lawsuit on August 10, 2022, in which Mayer’s attacks, batteries, emotional distress and negligence were inflicted. He claimed that he was “captured projectile/fragments” during the alleged attack “by Bullet”.

Court files show that Mayers refused all the misconduct in his response to the complaint.

On September 19, 2023, Ephron also submitted a lawsuit against Mayers and his legal team, including Tacopina. Court documents show that Mayers and his lawyers in their response to the complaint “Every single claim” contested in the lawsuit.

According to court files, both cases are pending.
