Christy McDonald announces the exit from WDIV

Christy McDonald, a TV personality at WDIV-TV (Channel 4) awarded the Emmy, announced on Tuesday on social media that she ends her time at the Detroit television channel.

“It was an incredible honor to be part of the rich history of WDIV and to work with some of the best in the industry,” she said. “And yet one of the great privileges in this business is to go to their own conditions.”

McDonald had created and anchored streaming programs after entering the station in 2022.

“I always believed in trusting her stomach -and mine tells me that it’s time for something new,” she said in her social media contribution. “There is a chapter, something that is waiting to be researched, learned and shared. If the time is correct, I can hardly wait to bring you on my trip. At the moment there is a jump here!”
