Ariana Grande’s face is everywhere right now thanks to Wicked, but she looks very different than what we’re all used to.

Actress Ari is like a completely different person than singer Ari and she has undergone a huge change in the last few years.

Let’s take a look at some photos from just before she was cast as Glinda to see how much the 31-year-old embraced the role.

Here are some photos of Ariana Grande before Wicked

This was Ariana in August 2021, three months before we learned she would be playing Glinda.

At this point, she would have already completed the audition for “Wicked.”

Here’s another one from October 2021 with her iconic ponytail and thick black eyeliner.

In December 2021, she started to look a little different.

From February 2022, Ari began to avoid makeup more and more.

August definitely marked the beginning of the cute girl era for her.

And then came the blonde hair in October 2022, marking the beginning of her Glinda transformation.

Ariana stopped wearing so much makeup and started sporting a cute new look.

That was in February 2023, in the middle of filming “Wicked”.

And this is a super recent picture from the Wicked press tour earlier this month.

She looks just as beautiful as ever.

She has gone through many phases in her career and in this one she has fully committed to her role.
