First look for charity organizations starts 2025 Chicago Auto Show

Chicago (WLS) – For more than three decades, the first look for charity has been offering a look at the car show in front of the Chicago Auto Show’s doors.

The Black-Tie event is a fundraising campaign for 18 local organizations and has collected almost $ 63 million for charitable purposes in the past few decades. The goal this evening was to collect at least 2.5 million US dollars and they met it.

“It always means a lot to me to be here every year,” said Michele.

Last year, it collected $ 3 million in the car show from Glitz and Glam last year.

“Ferraris, they are incredible. Rolls Royces, phenomenal. I love them. I am Italian, so I like the Ferraris,” said Richard Petits.

It is a real list and show for the city, and everyone is ready for the campaign.

“You will see people in clothes and tuxedo. It is a very elegant event, but it’s also a lot of fun. We have musical entertainment on the entire show floor,” said Jennier Morand, General Manager of the Auto show. “This is one of the biggest fundraising campaigns in Chicago, which takes place in just one night. Our goal is to collect at least 2.5 million dollars in order to get closer to these 65 million dollars since the beginning of this event . “

The first look gives a glamorous insight into the hottest cars, the giveaways of cars with Ravi Baichwal and Judy HSU from ABC7 and a chance to see a serious performance before the show is open to the public on Saturday. But behind the spectacular Soirée there is a profound purpose.

“The funds used this evening will support our expansion of adult services, so that the need in the autism area is considerable,” said Carrie Provenzale. “Every time we have the chance to collect more money, we can expand our team and go into the community and serve more from the families.”
