NYC congestion prices: Governor Hochul expects President Trump to keep the toll plan

Staten Island, New York (WABC) – The New York governor Kathy Hochul will make a follow -up interview about traffic jams next week.

It is expected that the governor represents reasons why the program should continue to be President Donald Trump, a long -time opponent of the toll.

When they drove in the parking lot on Staten Island in the parking lot in the parking lot of the Met Food Market, some buyers shared their feelings for traffic jam prices.

“I think there will be no difference,” said Guido Amati in Staten Island.

On Staten Island, a district that mostly voted for President Donald Trump, some inhabitants believe that he should use and get rid of the toll plan.

“He lets things happen, every other politician does not let anything happen,” said resident Janice Kodetsky.

President Trump had several calls with governor Hochul in relation to the state.

However, Hochul said on Tuesday that she just wants to show Trump why the plan should remain in force.

“I want to collect data. The president is data controlled. He knows the city. He knows that traffic jams before Trump Tower is not good, and I will be able to refer to some very positive advantages,” she said. “So I’ll do my best.”

The latest MTA data has shown that traffic is moving faster through the overload zone and more people drive the U -Bahnen compared to this time in the previous year. Sales data have not yet been published.

Lindsay Tuchman reports on Lower Manhattan.

Governor Hochul says she and President Trump have no planned conversations, but she hopes to speak to him while she is in Washington to meet National Governor’s Association next week.

At the moment, the country’s pricing remains the law of the country or rather the street.
