Preview: Women’s basketball aims to withdraw against Cal State Fullerton

Cal Poly Women’s Basketball takes over this week for Black History Night for Black History Night this week.

The Mustangs (10-12, 5-7 Big West) broke off a victory against No. 1 Hawai’i last Thursday. Cal Poly, who comes back on the track against No. 9 Titans (5-18, 3-10 Big West) this evening, which only have one place under the Mustangs.

The Mustang-Bank delivered a significant thrust with the recent defeat of the team of 67: 43 against the Rainbow Wahine and scored 28 points, more than half of the total total of Cal Poly. The Mustangs were competitive in games, in which the bank and the starter compensated for goal charging throughout the season.

The Mustangs are preferred when you enter today’s matchup after winning your last three games against Cal State Fullerton.

A strong defensive front

This season Cal State Fullerton will be fighting this season to challenge Cal Poly’s defense with her area and the fast -moving crime. However, the Titan’s crime corresponds to the defensive discipline of the Mustangs and the ability to force sales.

The defense of the Mustang was strong all the season, which made it to key winners and kept them competitive in Big West.

The Mustangs kept the opponents under 60 points in nine of their 10 victories this year and third place in Big West.

With two upcoming games against Big West teams with a lower rank in Cal State Fullerton and Cal State Northridge, the Mustangs have the opportunity to build dynamics and to consolidate their position in the conference.

Tip-off takes place in the Mott Athletics Center at 6 p.m., and the guests are encouraged to wear black for the black history night.
