Special demonstration of ‘The Unbreakable Boy’ in Bellevue tonight | News

(Bellevue) – A story of unconditional love, friendship and humor, which is rooted in the southwest of Iowa, is on the way to the screen this year.

A special representation of “The Unbreakable Boy” will take place this evening in the Marcus Twin Creek Cinema in Bellevue with a VIP reception at 6 p.m. and the early access screening at 7:30 p.m. The film is based on the bestseller memoirs of the New York Times. The same name, written by Scott Lerette, who focuses on the history of his 30-year-old son Austin, who was brought up with a rare brittle bone disease and autism. Lerette spoke on Kmak’s “Morgen Show” on Wednesday morning and said that the story quickly developed from him, which has raised his family’s experiences with the abolition of Austin to a film that was produced by Lionsgate.

“I just started to write small Bullet points about my feelings, my thoughts, funny stories and difficult stories and such things,” said Lerette. “We are here today because I opened this door and as soon as it was open, forgive the analogy, but you cannot put the toothpaste back in the tube. So here we are today.”

Now, an employee of Marcus Twin Creek Cinema, Austin grew up with his younger brother Logan and his parents Scott and Teresa in Red Oak. According to Lerette, they have also learned a lot from their son over the years, including how you are unconditional.

“There are so many things that he is so unconditional, a love, another, friendship, care, humor-feast never meets someone whom he doesn’t want to make friends,” emphasized Lerette. “In fact, he is probably more than everything else of the broken part of the world-more or broken one person, the more he wants to get to know, love and get to know this person.

Before the story was adapted to a book, she initially began as a blog, the Lerette about frustration, joy, heartache and humor of his family’s life. According to the Lerette, these feelings can be ordered for almost everyone.

“They have parenting, they have a marriage, they are looking for, special needs and psychological health-gives something for almost everyone and that is the kind of attraction and what people really love about history.” said Lerette. “This is also the snack, hopefully, when someone comes from a theater, see something in our history in their own lives and hopefully be affected by it.”

At Special Screening Tonight there will also be an event on the red carpet with Zachary Levi and Peter Facinelli, who play the leading role in the film. Lerette hopes that film visitors can find a piece of history that resonates with them.

“My hope is that you will come in, see our film, enjoy it, laugh and maybe go away in our story that you can take to heart and get you to think of your own place in the world,” he said . “In some of the demonstrations we made, I had so many adult men who go away and say ‘Oh my god, that was me.’ It is emotional and crying, which is so humble when you see it because it is really ‘real’.

Some tickets for the ceremonial celebration for Unbreakable Boy are still available tonight and can be bought on the theater website. The film will be shown on the opening weekend, February 21 to 23, at 7 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday on Sunday at 7 p.m. in the opening weekend.
