Astro Bot takes home another game of the year

Team ASOBI, celebrated by the criticism, secured the game of the year again, this time with the Dice Awards.

Asobi’s celebration of all things, the Playstation also for outstanding performance in the animation, outstanding technical achievements, family games of the year, outstanding achievements in the game design and the “Game of the Year” award for outstanding services in the animation, outstanding technical performance, a family game of the Year took home.

The solo game developer of the Roguelike Deck-Building game Balatro, Localthunk, also received the awards for strategy/simulation game of the year, outstanding achievements for an independent game and the mobile game of the year.

Other winners are Helldivers 2, which have won outstanding achievements in the original music composition, outstanding achievements in audio design, the action game of the year and the online game of the year as well as Indiana Jones and The Great Circle, who secured awards for outstanding achievements in character, Character, character, character, character, character, character, excellent performance in the history and adventure game of the year.

The black myth of Game Science, Wukong, also won outstanding achievements in Art Direction, and Atlus’ Studio Zero took the role -playing game of the year for metaphor: Refantazio.

Icymi, founder and outgoing CEO of Insomniac Games, Ted Price, who announced that he was retired last month, was also included in the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences’ (Aias) Hall of Fame.

Don James also received the Lifetime Achievement Award for “his contributions to the game industry, from his basic work at Nintendo to his passions at Starlight Children’s Foundation”.

Astro Bot also won the game of the year at the Game Awards 2024. -/adventure game and best family game.

The Stellar Balatro from Localthunk also secured several awards, including the best mobile game, the best debut indie game and the best independent game.
