No. 7 Oregon State Baseball against Xavier Musketers: Preview, starting line -up, so you can see the start of the season

No. 7 Oregon State Beavers will play on Friday at the season opener in the Surprise Stadium in Surprise, Arizona, the Xavier Muskets.

The first place is planned for 11 a.m.

The beavers enter the 2025 season with a new pitching rotation, newer, much new faces in the line-up … but the same old sky-high expectations.

They are a unanimous top 10 team with several all-America candidates, two players on the observation list of the Golden Spikes Award and five players who were classified on the top 100 mlb Draft Prospect List from MLB.com.

However, OSU is tested early on by a challenging, street -heavy schedule, which contains 11 games at locations in neutral locations in the first 17 days of the season. The beavers only play their first home game on March 7.
