The second NBA-MVP raw number of the 2024-25 season, which was carried out by Tim Bontemps from ESPN, contains the same top 4, the name at the top of the list is different this time.

After the first time that the Thunder Guard of Oklahoma City, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, has checked in second place, Nikola Jokić has preferred the prize as the leader.

Gilgeous-Alexander and Jokić were the only players who were named in all 100 ballots. The Thunder star received 70 votes in first place and 30 votes in second place for a total of 910 points.

Jokić took 788 points from 30 votes in the first place, 69 votes in second place and one vote in third place. Giannis Antetokounmpo (430 points, 96 votes) and Jayson Tatum (299 points, 97 points) were a distant third and fourth in the voice.

This is a considerable leap for Gilgeous-Alexander from the first survey published on December 20. He received voices from the first to fifth place and had a total of 678 points.

At that time, Jokić had a fairly comfortable lead with 57 votes and 827 points.

Although the Denver Nuggets played much better in the three months since this first survey, NBA during the all-star break (44-10).

The two-time all-star leads the league in the rating (32.5 points per game). He has most games with at least 30 points, 40 points and 50 points this season.

Most of the season it can be felt that the MVP race was a two-man fight between Gilgeous-Alexander and Jokić. This season on March 9th and 10th you have two more head-to-head matchups in Denver, which could make a big contribution to deciding who the actual winner is when the real vote is finished.
