Donnie Wahlberg to regain ‘Blue Bloods’ role for ‘Boston Blue’

Donnie Wahlberg is back on the force.

According to Deadline, the actor and the new children on the block star return to his hometown Boston to his hometown Boston. The outlet reported on Tuesday that Wahlberg will repeat his role as a NYPD detective Danny Reagan, which he previously played in 14 seasons in the original series from 2010 to 24 years.
