Dangerously cold temperatures to end the week

First alarm weather day – Thursday and Friday

It is a dangerous cold start for our Thursday, and some areas still see some floods and light snow showers this morning. Streets that were untreated were covered again overnight. There will still be a lot of smooth and icy spots on the streets this morning, with black ice, which is difficult to see even on the Interstate and Transfer. If you have to travel, make additional caution on the streets.

Hochs will only dump in the 20s this afternoon. Clouds will be difficult to break on Thursday, but we should be able to sneak into a sunshine later a day.

The lows on Thursday evening and on Friday morning the individual digits will in most cases fall from Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky into the individual digits. The temperatures will return under a partially cloudy sky near this freezer brand by Friday afternoon.
