“I know that it sinks a lot for different community groups, but NWCI leads the way and shows it and brings it and uses his experience to help them,” said Ald Guy.
“It is great to see that they get more into the water. I know that the Tully Community Center will be interested in the fact that the group of women is involved. Everything is good and it may go on for a long time, ”he added.
Cllr Aisling Hutton (Sinn Féin) said that she saw the “Brilliant Film of Féile” about the work of the NWCI.
Cllr Hutton said: “It is a 10-minute film that catches the amount of work that NWCI does in the entire district. The geographical reach within the film is inspiring; It shows how many groups it works and the fact that it is now also possible with groups on the water on the water.
“(It shows) the variety of work and the range of participants, with whom NWCI also works.
“I think if we are on the street that watch the parades, there is no person who knows no one in the parade. This only shows you how many groups actually come together and participate. There is only a wide range of communities.
“I think we recognize the disturbance of the arts while covid in relation to performances, exhibitions, creative work as a whole, but it is good to see that they are also researching other financing options. From Sinn Féin’s point of view, it is to praise them for the work they do and how their leadership shows in the success of the parades and programs that are carried out all year round. Many thanks to a million and we cannot wait for this year’s parade. ”
DUP -Alderman, Julie Middleton, praised Jim Collins for his “positive presentation”.
She added: “We thank you for your time and your ongoing work and we also thank you that you have a vision for the entire district, and you not only focus on a specific area or a specific group. This is wonderful and it is exactly the kind of work that we have to see in the entire district. “
