Married couple able to escape from house fire in Marshall-Shadeland

A couple was able to escape a house fire in Pittsburgh’s Marshalland district on Thursday afternoon when Rauch turned out of every window, the baptist and gap of his house on the corner.

According to Pittsburgh Public Safety, the fire started around noon.

“It’s crazy, I lost everything,” said Brenda Mcelroy, the homeowner.

She said her son and her daughter -in -law live there, but the house has no heat, which became a problem in this cold weather.

“My son led a propan turbo heating and I think something happened and he tried to bring it out, but the house went up,” she said.

Mcelroy said she had been with a friend in the neighborhood, and there she heard the sirens.

“I ran here to see what was going on because I knew everyone and I thought it was someone I knew or in our house,” she said.

She said that both her son and her daughter -in -law could get out of it, but it is just the latest tragedy she experienced. It was the third fire that she took part in her life.

“I don’t know what I’m going to do,” she said.

Public security has announced that the cause of the fire does not yet determine and expected that it will be a long examination after the cleaning has been completed.

Since today the temperatures fell into the teenagers, the water turned the ground into ice out of the fire department space and kept the surrounding tres and bushes in icicles.

“It’s terribly cold outside today, I am sure that it will be more difficult for you, but as far as the fire is concerned, you are well equipped to do that,” “Mcelroy.

Mcelroy said her two cats were also at home when the fire started, but unfortunately it is not clear what happened to them.

“I pray that the cats got out, but I am grateful that my son and my daughter -in -law are okay,” she said.
