Percy Jackson starts at Paramount this evening

February 21 – Lawrence County Resident portrays Charon, serves as a costumer, choreographer

Ashland, Ky.-Die production of “The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical” through the Paramount players starts his two-day run this evening.

The Regional Theater Group will present the first show based on the first book by Rick Riordan’s “Percy Jackson and the Olympian” Roman series, a musical tension for a little over two hours.

The fantasy novels have recorded the students’ adventures at Camp Half-Blood, where the students descend from the Greek gods in a modern surroundings.

In the first book, Percy Jackson wrestles with the search for his father’s identity and the search for a hero to restore the stolen flash of Zeus.

The leadership of the lead is Shawn Weston, accompanied by Neveah Takahashi, the Annabeth, the daughter of Athena; Connor Amos as Luke, the son of Hermes; and Alec bowling, as a grover, a satyr.

Under the direction of Matt Stone, who said the books were aligned with the fourth to eighth degrees, contains the occupation of dozens that mainly consist of young people that represent the leads, while adults represent parents and trainers.

One of those from Lawrence County is Rick Payne, who portrays Charon, and is also a choreographer and costummer of the show.

Actors from all over the tri-state fill out the ensemble like Naly Khounlavong from Ironon.

Tickets range from 15 to 25 US

The Paramount Arts Center is located in the 1300 Winchester Avenue in Ashland.

A second show takes place on Saturday at the same time.
