The couple said they were traumatized by the incident, who developed when a woman went out of the bathroom and collapsed next to her row.

“Unfortunately, the lady could not be saved, which was pretty heartbreaking,” said Ring.

“They tried to roll them towards Business Class, but she was a fairly tall woman and they couldn’t bring her through the corridor.

“They looked a bit frustrated, then they just looked at me and saw that seats next to me were available, my wife was on the other side, we were in a row of four.

“You said: ‘Can you please move?’ And I just said: ‘Yes, no problem’.

“Then they put the lady in the chair I was on.”

The couple claims that the cabin crew had not offered them any other seat to which a passenger in the row had to be moved behind them, but offered a replacement seat to the nervous flyer colin.

“There were a few replacement seats that I could see around us,” said Ring.

Ring spent the remaining hours of the flight in the same row as the body and said that he was instructed to stay sitting, as medical crews covered that covered the body after the plane had landed.

“I can’t believe that we should have told us that we should stay … it wasn’t nice,” he said.
