Sammy Sosa reacts to the first day in the Cubs Camp

Sammy Sosa returned to Cubs Spring Training for the first time in 21 years.

On his first day before the day, Sosa signed autographs, stepped back in the spring training environment, met with players and had an exclusive interview with Taylor McGregor.

Sosa was in the CUBS undergrowth for her spring training game against the Diamondbacks in Sloan Park, where he immediately had an impact on the current players.

Sosa spoke to Cubs First Baseman Michael Busch, Kevin Alcántara, Outfield interester Kevin Alcántara and others about mental approaches, advice and how he could get to his level of play during his career.

In an interview with McGregor, Sosa said that he was “happy to see everyone in his return to the Cubs Camp and he was happy to help them help them in every conceivable way.

Current cubs asked the legendary slugger how he could find so much success in the field, and his answer was simply:

“Work hard every day,” he said. “I was never satisfied when I played … so you go from an ‘okay’ player (a) superstar.”

It is a simple advice, but it clearly worked for Sosa and can help the young Cubs players in spring training and all their career.

The Cubs hope that Sosa’s presence and advice will help the rackets to navigate in early seasonal fights.

When I talked about helping Hitters, Sosa said: “I’m an expert in it.”

There may be no one better for current Cubs if you receive advice than the National League MVP from 1998 with 609 career.
