Atlanta – The police say that the “cowardly” actions of a rapper in Atlanta have started a chain of events that led to two innocent children.

On Wednesday afternoon, the leaders of the Atlanta police organized a press conference to announce seven arrests in the death of Jakody Davis and Lamon Freeman, both 13.

Freeman and Davis were killed in July 2024 when they had a birthday party for Freeman.

Major Ralph Woolfolk with the ban on APD violent crimes said that the boys’ shootings were part of a gang war that started a shoot in the music video shoot of a rapper.

“The cowardly acts of a rapper based in Atlanta who decided in a place he knew that he shouldn’t have been,” said Woolfolk.

Channel 2 Action News Has received arrest commands who have confirmed that the rapper Woolfolk was expelled, was Lil Baby, whose real name is Dominique Jones.

In May 2024, three men were shot while Jones’ music video was shot.

The police said in the days after shooting that they saw several shootings and murders that could be connected to the music video shoot.

The investigators said that the boys ‘shootings came from a high-ranking member of the gang who took a goal against Jones’ gang against a goal from a smuggling cell phone in a Georgia prison. This person was not identified.

Woolfolk also had a direct explanation for Jones during the press conference.

“This team will work relentlessly to hold them accountable,” he said.
