Arkansas, to sell from China, prohibit CCP-connected companies from critical infrastructure areas

Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders announced the new communist legislative package in China Defense today, which will serve to sell state resources from China and ban companies that are associated with the Chinese Communist Party to buy the purchase of land for critical infrastructure such as military bases or electrical substantial works.

The leading sponsors of legislation are Senator Blake Johnson (District 21), representative Deann Vaught (District 87), representative Britt McKenzie (district 7), representative Mindy Mcalindon (district 10) and representative Howard M. Beaty Jr. (District 95).

According to governor Sanders’ office, the package will expand the bans of the Chinese communist party company owners. In particular, the legislation will prevent these companies from owning or leased property near a critical infrastructure. In addition, it will shorten the time to sell a forbidden company.

“President Trump is the first president in my life to take a hard line against communist China, and we are proud to support this work in Arkansas by bringing out the communist china from our country and from our state,” said Governor Sanders. “As soon as I signed this legislation, the companies associated with the Chinese party are prohibited near the critical infrastructure and no longer approved in the state of Arkansas in the name of communist China, Russia and other foreign opponents. My administration puts America and Arkansas in the first place. “

Legislation will also prevent the municipalities from having a sister city in China.

“In the last two terms, the state of Arkansas has contained the influence of the Communist Party of the Chinese Communist (KPCH) within our borders and signaled a uniform and bold attitude against foreign interference. From the ban on Chinese military drones to the ban on land ownership and the introduction of serious punishments and the improvement of the triggering of foreign influence; These restrictions aim to protect Arkansas’ economic and security interests by limiting the companies supported by CCP. I would like to thank Governor Sarah Sanders for her partnership with the legislator, as these initiatives of Arkansa’s’ commitment to secure our sovereignty and the well -being of our citizens reflect, ”said Rep. Britt McKenzie.

According to the new rules, Arkansas could be able to withhold funds from universities and universities that “have a Confucius Institute or a similar institute in relation to the People’s Republic of China, including Chinese cultural centers, and the state-sponsored universities, universities and companies prevent them from investing in communist China.”

Public funds would also spend in the state authorities to buy promotional items in China.
