Explosive Kingda Ka -demolition at Six Flags Great Adventure planned

Jackson, NJ – The end is close for Kingda Ka.

More than three months after Six Flags Great Adventure announced that the popular roller coaster would be removed to make room for new trips, the demolition day was finally announced.

The Ocean County public prosecutor’s office published a message on Thursday that the demolition on Friday between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. is planned.

The demolition is carried out with a number of faster explosions that will implode the coastizer, the public prosecutor said.

“The noises may be amazing, but please don’t be alarmed,” said the public prosecutor. “Keep pets inside if you are sensitive to loud noises. If you or someone you know are affected by loud noises, you will take the necessary precautionary measures.”

Kingda Ka, who has been sending the drivers into the air at 128 miles per hour for almost 20 years, is removed together with Green Lantern, the Twister and the parachute jump, parking officers said in November. The Sky Way, the chair ride, the people from the area near the block flower, known as the Frontierland, leads to the area near the Joker and Harley Quinn is also removed.

Two new roller coasters are planned to invest in the thematic park as part of an investment of 1 billion US dollars, which has been working in Jackson for 50 years. Read more: Coaster rumors confirmed 1 billion USD for changes to Six Flags
