Dominic Haines, a senior, was injured in Macon during a game and had to be operated on after the accident. Jefferson Athletics and the school football team continued to ask for prayers and support for Haines when he navigates his recovery. A verified online donation campaign describes him as “a very outgoing young man everyone loves” and finds that he has been a competitive wrestler for four years.

The district of Jefferson City Schools had 18 wrestlers who fought for individual and team titles at the GHSA tournament, which ran from Thursday, February 13th to Saturday, February 14th.
