Gavin Kilen Homer twice in Win VS Rice

Houston-Gavin Kilen started quietly on Saturday with a first Inning walk.

The second Baseman of Tennessee Baseball did nothing quietly in the following eight innings. He doubled from the wall of the left field. He scored two Homeruns for the second game in a row. He laced a triple center from two runs to the right center.

Kilen punished baseballs from the foul Pole to the foul Pole in Daikin Park when he turned the classic of the Astros Foundation College into the Gavin Kilen shop window.

The No. 1 Vols (10-0) rensed the rice with 13-13 behind Kilens four HIT two-homer performance. The junior was 4 against 5 with five runs and four RBIs against the owls (2-7).

Marcus Phillips had started in a further good start in good time

Marcus Phillips continues to cement himself in the Saturday’s start -up role. He allowed a run with five goals and a walk. He was careful for the second start in a row and has 20 in 13 ⅓ Innings.

The junior delivered timely strike couts in the first and fourth inning rings. Rice had two runners in points in both innings, but Phillips ended both with strikeouts.

Brayden Sharp is an interesting Bullpen option

Brayden Sharp came in second place with a runner to relieve Phillips in the fifth. The Texan excluded Rice Drei-Loch-Schlagmann-Gunnet Carlson on three parking spaces.

He had two strikes in 1⅓ Innings and has seven in 3⅓ Innerings. He didn’t allow a hit, but was three.

Sharp did not beat last season, but was a respected two-way view from the Houston area. The Vols bend Dylan Loy as the upper left -hander, but Sharp is in the mix to be an option behind Loy.

Tennessee broke out the game with two goals in the second inning against Rice.

Kilen started the route with a double from the left field wall. Hunter Ensley hit a single to score kiles. Andrew Fischer went to Clark, who continued his great start to the season. The newcomer has a Homer with three runs on the right field to put on Tennessee 7-1.

Reese Chapman met a single after Clarks Homer to extend his hit series to 10 games to open the season.
