Rookie of the Year executives look at themselves in spurs gizzlies

On Saturday evening, an unexpected force met an immovable object in the two leaders of the year of the NBA, which compete against each other in Spurs vs. Grizzlies.

According to every most important quota maker, Guard Stephon Castle is currently the favorite that takes the award home, followed by Memphis Wing Jaylen Wells. The two could not have taken any different draft paths if they had tried it, with Castle going to 4th place and rating well to No. 39 before the grizzlies slorn him up.

Nevertheless, the two have seen similar statistical debuts in the NBA. And both showed their firepower on Saturday evening.

Castle was probably the big winner of the night, who received 24 points with seven templates, three rebounds, theft and, above all, victory in 50% of the shootout. As a +13 plus minus, he ended only two points and met two triple and all six of his attempts at the free-wing line.

While the Spurs finally got away with the victory, Wells could not be denied. Since he achieved so often in the starting line-up of Grizzlies this season, Wells achieved the best of them and added a total of 18 points to his own 50%shootout. He shot 40% to a whopping 10 trial and added three assists and two rebounds.

The two seem to pull themselves off the field, taking off the season and, despite Wells, Castle takes on a slight lead in one of the best teams in the league.

The two will not compete again in the regular season and will mark the end of their quasi-rivalry for the time being.
