United Airlines flight was redirected to Waco after serious turbulence was injured 5

Waco, Texas (KXXV) – A flight from United Airlines had to conduct an unexpected landing on Sunday evening due to turbulence at Waco Regional Airport, according to interim director of Aviation Michael A. Reisman.

A flight from United Airlines von Springfield, Missouri, to Houston, Texas, was diverted to the regional port of Waco for severe turbulence.

Five people were injured and taken to the hospital for treatment.

The Waco Fire Department and the Office of Emergency Management reacted to the scene.

United Airlines is now working on a recreation plan to bring passengers to their goal in Houston.

Reisman said that a total of three flights were redirected to regional airport on Sunday evening, two American airlines that drove to DFW and to the flight of United Airlines by Springfield.

Reisman said the aircraft United Airlines would be in Waco for a day or two so that the mechanics can watch the plane. Passengers are still redirected from this flight.
