Shreyas Iyers rocket arm catches Alex Carey surprised; The efforts are made by 20 runs from Australia’s score

Alex Carey threatened to run away with the game for Australia, but Shreyas Iyers inspired Fielding efforts helped India to get the urgently needed Wicket and Steve Smith and Co in their routes in the first semi-finals of the ICC men Champions Trophy 2025 to stop at the Dubai International Stadium. At the first ball of the 48th past Alex Carey pulled the ball backwards of the square. When the left -hander tried to keep the strike, he tried to return a double. Shreyas Iyer then quickly ran out of the deep, backward square leg.

He picked the ball clean and hit the Bullseye with a rocket throw at the end of the goalkeeper. Carey was caught in front of his floor and had to go back.

Careys 61-Run knocking was occupied with 8 four and 1 six. He was involved in an important 54-run stand with captain Steve Smith for the fifth Wicket. The duo wanted to take over Australia on the 300-Run brand.

However, Mohammed Shami hit a full throw and released Smith for 73 years. Australia repeatedly lost gates at regular intervals and in the end the team could not play the full quota of 50 overs. Australia was ejected for 264.

Alex Careys inspired effort

Alex Carey dismissed India’s spinner from dominating the game in the middle. The left-hander was flawless and used the ball exactly both on the front and on the hind foot.

Carey liked Kultdeep Yadav and did not make the left gun spinner settled. Kuldeep had the worst bowling figures in all spinners of India, and the great reason was Carey’s rush.

The Australian captain Steve Smith won the throw earlier and first decided on a blow. Mohammed Shami was the choice of the Indian bowl and returned with numbers of 3/48. Shami took the Wickets from Cooper Connolly, Steve Smith and Nathan Ellis. Varun Chakaravarthy also took two gates, including the key wrap of the Travis head. The left -handed Australian opener went after he had achieved 39 out of 33 balls.

The winner of this semi -finals will compete in the final on Sunday either New Zealand or South Africa. When India wins, the match is played in Dubai or it continues in Lahore.
