Trump plan to abolish the severance payment of education is supported by the Top Republican

Exclusive: The top legislator in the House Committee for Education and workforce is the support of President Donald Trump when he presents the current Ministry of Education, but the legislator is skeptical congress could offer support.

“I support him in the fact that we have to abolish the Ministry of Education, have to return education to the States, in particular for K-12, and get control of the higher institutions and get them going,” said chairman Tim Walberg, R-Mich., In an interview with Fox News Digital. “Whether we can abolish it or not is the question”

He pointed out that the threshold of the Senate for most 60 year olds means that the Republicans could probably be forced to apply for democratic votes if a draft law to abolish the department for congress.

“It takes voices. The president can do executive orders, but they will be limited in time and time. The voices are not there to completely abolish the department in the Senate,” said Walberg.

However, the Republican from Michigan signaled that the congress could still investigate which changes he could make.

“So what can we do to deactivate, reform, to replace the system for the time being? I think that is the question we have,” he said.
