Alec Baldwin reveals that his 6,000 square meter NYC apartment is “too small” for his 9-year-old family

Alec Baldwin’s chic Greenwich Village Pad bursts at the seams and he is not afraid to inform the world about it.

In his new TLC reality show “The Baldwins”, which began on February 23, the 66-year-old actor takes advantage of his duplex by Devonshire House: “We know that it is too small.”

You would think that a 4,137 square meter penthouse 2011 for $ 11.7 million cut back-but not if you separate four house and a presumed squad from Nannies in Ms. Hilaria, seven children.

The place is a zoo-in the truth of the word with bunk beds for the three boys, a split room for a younger son and a daughter and 11-year-old Bunching next to a staircase.

There is a transparent dog road on the kitchen, a cat tower that stacked the dining room and plastic container like a tetris game in the hallway.

This is not an old apartment – it is a jewel in the city center with a family tree.

Devonshire House was built in 1928 by the big-shot architect Emery Roth (Think El Dorado, The Beresford) and was intended for the work of Steifer and Boozy artists who stumbled home from nearby meeting points.

In the 2000s, faster and developer of the Cheshire Group LLC LLC did dollar signs and transformed pre -war ownership with 131 units in condominiums with Gothic flair and unusual urns outside.

“We tried to make the apartments gracious,” said Robert McCain, the broker, who contributed to building up the floor plans and sold the first units, including Baldwins, Curbed. “It was a pleasure to work with them,” he added.

Sotheby’s Broker Wendy Arriz, who has completed three deals in the building, calls it “very traditional, solid”, with a “West-Side Vibe” that Lettwin attracted from his old Digs in Roth’s El Dorado Uptown, which he once praised in the New York Times as “no little kind of jewelry”.

But a trophy pad also has limits.

The Baldwins Immobilien, Jenga, has been playing since moving in.
