Harold Ford Jr., the political contributor from Fox News, who is the five in the FOX News Co-moderator, was once a basic Memphis food in the political field.

Ford is a member of the long -standing political family Memphis, many of which held an elected office or currently held.

While Ford is no longer a chosen civil servant who represents Memphis, he spent most of his time in the late 90s and early 2000s in Washington, DC, which represented the area in the congress.

So who is Harold Ford Jr.?

Ford is a former Democratic US congress member who represented the Memphis area from 1997 to 2007 on the seat of 9th district 9. The seat is now held by Memphis Democrat Steve Cohen.

Ford’s father, Harold Ford Sr., kept the seat of district 9 from 1975 to 1997 in the 9th to 1997. Because his father was a seated congress member, Ford was trained in Washington, DC, at the St. Alban School.

Ford completed in 1992 at the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor in American History and later graduated into law studies at the University of Michigan.

Former congress member

Before his role as a congress member, Ford worked as a personnel aid in the US Senate Committee for the household and as a special assistant in the US Ministry of Trade.

Ford was elected to his father’s seat after Ford Sr.’s retirement, which not only has one of the latest congressions at the age of 26, but also the first black representative who competed in the congress, to make one of the latest congress members.

During his time as a congress member, Ford worked in the budget, education and the committees of the workforce, financial services, government reform and the supervisory committees.

In 2006, Ford ran for the US Senate Senate in Tennessee and lost three percentage points against the Republican Bob Corker.

In 2011, Ford was hired by the investment banking company Morgan Stanley.

In 2018, Ford made headlines in several news agencies who claimed that he was released due to harassment and abuse after it became known that he was terminated from the position. The Huffpost reported that the company had examined claims for harassment and intimidation.

Morgan Stanley later made it clear that Ford was released due to violation of company guidelines.

According to earlier commercial appeal reporting, an exposé quoted an internal examination by Wall Street Bank on January 11, 2018 of the New York Times Anonymous Managers, which found no evidence that he sexually harassed a woman. Rather, he was released in December because he allegedly misused managers and his output account, among other things, according to the managers.

He was appointed deputy chairman for corporate and institutional banking at the PNC Financial Services Group Inc. in December 2020.
