Tornado until 4 a.m. Saturday Saturday

Western Indiana is under a Tornado clock until 4 a.m. Stay safe and have various ways to get warnings overnight.

Indianapolis – Update 2:45 a.m.. -The previously issued tornado clock was extended to the entire Central Indiana until 10 a.m., since this striker line continues to pursue throughout the state during the night. The line has a story in which harmful winds and rotating storms are generated.

At 1:20 a.m. the storms are located in East Illinois and moves towards us. There are still some tornado warnings in this line, and Western Indiana has to be ready to protect themselves while the storms move in.

A strong storm system moves with strong wind and the risk of tornados. A tornado watch is in force for Western Indiana until 4 a.m.

Severe weather events are more dangerous at night when storms are difficult to recognize and when people sleep. We encourage you to have various options overnight, to receive warnings. There will be two storms. One is overnight and the other is later on Saturday. The biggest threat from storms in rotating storms exists at the first round. A few strong to heavy storms are also possible later on Saturday. Heavy rain can lead to floods and the winds will be strong until Saturday.
