Report: Seahawks meet the former recipient of Dallas Cowboys Michael Gallup

The Seattle Seahawks sniff for a wider recipient depth, and a recently not built former destination of Dallas Cowboys comes to visit.

Aaron Wilson reported on Monday that Michael Gallup, who has just visited the Washington commanders, who is supposed to visit Seahawks. Gallup was retired last year when he was contractually under contract with the Las Vegas Raiders, but it was obviously a short -lived retirement.

Gallup’s best season with the cowboys was drafted into the third round of Dallas in 2019 when he caught 66 passes for 1,107 yards and 6 touchdowns. Injuries were a major problem for Gallup in relation to its availability and the recovery of its best form. In 2021 he started with a calf injury that landed in an injured reserve. After an ACL tear, Gallup returned to the Arizona Cardinals for the IR Kuldig in week 17.

Despite the injury, the Cowboys Gallup still extended a five-year contract worth $ 62.5 million, but he continued to change the crime and made it only a total of 73 catches for 842 yards and 6 touchdowns in 31 games, which were played in the following two seasons. Dallas published Gallup Last Offseason as a cap victim. Shortly before the training camp with the Las Vegas Raiders, Gallup announced his retirement from sport.

Do not read too much in that outside of the tires on someone who was a productive secondary goal at the beginning of his career. Any possibility of signing Gallup would come with the restriction that it would be incredibly cheap and far from a squad lock.
