Victor Wembanyama has been out in his right shoulder with deep venous thrombosis since February 20. According to Mitch Johnson, reigning coach of Spurs, team doctors discovered it after the 21-year-old had returned from the NBA all-star weekend in San Francisco.

“His arm didn’t feel quite normal,” said Johnson.

Since then, the Spurs 5-9 have gone and are currently sitting with the Portland Trail Blazers for seeds No. 12 in the Western Conference. In the meantime, the Lakers without Lebron James-the 40-year-olds have missed the last four games with a groin burden-but it managed to break a four-game loss with a win against the Phoenix Sun’s Sunday evening.

James will stay outside on Monday evening, but Luka Dončić will probably play.
