Iconic and nostalgic crime drama restart confirms the exciting brand new line-up

The upcoming restart of the prison break has announced new actors.

A few years ago, it was confirmed that the legendary show from the 2000s received a revival that plays in the same universe as the original series, but with new characters.

We have now received a few more details, with the show signed the Emily Browning of the Affair to play a former soldier correction officer named Cassidy Collins, who takes on a job in one of the most fatal prisons (about the deadline).

Euphorias Lukas Gage will portray a politician named Jackson who comes from a privileged background and carries out his first congress campaign, while the Drake Rodger is occupied by Winchester in the role of an inmate called Tommy, who has been in prison for a decade.

Further details remain under lock and key, even though the show was picked up for a pilot at the end of 2024.

It was previously confirmed that the original characters Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) and Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) do not appear on the show, which comes from Mayan’s Mcs Elgin James.

The Prison Break originally ran between 2005 and 2009 and was revived in 2017 for one last season. In addition to Miller and Purcell, the Amaury Nolasco, Robert Knepper, Robin Tunney, Peter Stormare and Sarah Wayne Callies played.

In the meantime, it was confirmed last year that Miller and Purcell would once again come together for a new television drama called Snatchback, which is followed by a team that is trying to save hostages around the world and based on the life of a real hidden secret service officer.

The restart of prison breaks must still confirm a publication date. Every five seasons of the original exhibition now stream on Netflix.
